Finally Made it Through the Lonely to the Other Side

I always love stumbling across lesser-known designers. Something about them, that, when you acquire a piece of their clothing-or even just finding it-feels like a treasure. A secret treasure. I would absolutely love to don one of these dresses from Mara Hoffman. Shes insanely talented. I dont think there's one look in her colourful spring 2010 collection that I dont like. These images also make me want to go shoe shopping really bad :]

I really like her eye for detail. Her clothes are beautiful. The draping on the flag dress is gorgeous. I really want this dress!! Mara is based in New York and launched in 2000. She graduated from Parsons School of Design in New York City and Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in London.

Browsing the archives, I absolutely adore her vintage pieces...Like this dress from spring 2007

I must say, she posts some very inspiring pictures.
